Rebecca has been with Wendy’s for over 7 years. She began her journey as a Crew Member at our South 48th location in Lincoln, NE and quickly moved into leadership positions such as Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, and General Manager. In September 2023 Rebecca earned her Training Restaurant Certification and was promoted to the role of District Manager. Her stores have seen double-digit sales increases in the last two years. She is our Midwest leader in Speed of Service and other operational measurables. In 2023 Rebecca received the accolade of Top 200 GM and was recognized at the annual Wendy’s Convention in Washington DC. Rebecca is great at training and developing her team. She has built a strong management team and is maximizing each manager’s potential. Rebecca’s approach to leadership is to work together with her General Managers to achieve solutions together. In doing so, local stores under Rebecca’s guidance have seen improvements across various metrics and are top contenders in our Midwest market.

Karla has been with Wendy’s for over four years and has been the General Manager at our Ogallala restaurant for three of these years. Once she took over the store, she immediately turned her attention to staffing and training her team. Karla’s restaurant has seen amazing sales growth, and in 2022 she won first place for sales increase and customer count increase in our Midwest Market. She is also one of our leaders in controlling food costs, labor, and overtime. In 2022, Karla earned the spot of Top 200 GM at the 2023 Wendy’s Convention in Washington DC. She is a true team player, and acts as a mentor for newer General Manager by spending time with them and answering their questions. Karla places an importance in recognizing her team, taking pride in the work accomplished, and being mediocre is never an option.

Ariel Evan is soft spoken and driven. In 4 years, she has become a training store manager and 2023 Top 200 GM in the Wendy's system. When you ask her how she accomplished this, she says "great people, structure and encouraging work environment." This recipe has definitely worked for Ariel and her team. Turning in year over year sales increases, decreasing turnover, and increasing customer satisfaction.

Nate started as a team member and has since worked his way up to being a Certified Training Restaurant GM. Nate is an exaptational leader because he leads by example; he is always on the floor working with his team embodying the We Appreciate You culture by always thanking his team. Nate is very flexible with scheduling and does whatever it takes to make the schedule work for his team. Nate has achieved the Top 200 GM award in 2022.
